Abstract

The 2023 Agricultural Census (ST2023) is the seventh agricultural census held by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) every 10 (ten) years since 1963. The implementation of ST2023 is a mandate of Law Number 16 of 1997 concerning Statistics and refers to a number of recommendations from FAO which stipulates "The World Program for the Cencus of Agriculture (WCA) Covering the Period 2016–2025". Implementation of ST2023 was carried out in stages, namely a complete enumeration of agricultural businesses in the period 1 June–31 July 2023, followed by detailed data collection through the Agricultural Economic Survey and Production Survey and Agricultural Environment by 2024.
