Abstract

Southeast Sulawesi's export value in May 2018 was US $ 93.53 million or an increase of 47.97 percent compared to April 2011's export of US $ 63.21 million. Meanwhile, the export volume in May 2018 was recorded at 614.78 thousand tons or decreased by 27.26 percent compared to the export of April 2018 which was recorded at 845.23 thousand tons.
Total Southeast Sulawesi exports from January to May 2018 reached 3,957.91 thousand tons or US $ 392.16 million.
The value of Southeast Sulawesi's imports in May 2018 was US $ 102.73 million, an increase of 41.52 percent compared to April 2011 imports of US $ 72.59 million. While the volume of imports in May 2018 recorded 100.74 thousand tons or decreased by 11.66 percent compared to imports in April 2018 which recorded 114.04 thousand tons.
Total imports of Southeast Sulawesi from January to May 2018 reached 439.86 thousand tons or worth US $ 323.63 million.
